Sports Performance Academy Strive to be on top of your form. Building skills and self-confidence in young athletes aged 8 and up. Vision Sports Performance Academy introduces evidence-based training and teaching strategies in a fun and friendly environment to improve a young athlete’s coordination, running technique, first-step quickness and agility, strength, and flexibility. The combined effect is a marked improvement in the young athlete’s attitude and self-confidence. Vision provides this cutting-edge education in its fully-equipped state-of-the-art athlete training facility. All athletes begin with a performance evaluation. The results of this evaluation will help identify the specific needs of the athlete. Vision Performance Coaches then combine these results with the athlete’s goals and developmental age, and devise the individual athlete’s customized training prescription. Your child’s program will be divided into a 6- to 12-week training progression. Athletes will typically train twice per week in-season, and 3 times per week off-season. All sessions are scheduled by appointment, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the athlete completes a full training progression, they will go through a post-training performance evaluation to quantify their progress and determine subsequent performance needs and training strategies. |
